Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge officially lunched in Myanmar

On last Sunday, 28th of March, Samsung officially lunched their new and high end smartphones Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 edge. In Myanmar market, people are most interesting in the new trend of product, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge.


I'm seeing that Samsung is marketing S6 Edge the most and for S6, they don't do much. The price of Samsung Galaxy S6 is 749,000 Kyat (same amount of 749 USD), and the price of S6 Edge is 869,000 Kyat (same amount of 869 USD). The price of S6 Edge is quiet high. But it's staying as the same price with 6 Plus in Myanmar.

Only 10 percent of mobile phone users are able to use high-end smartphones and they are living in Yangon mostly. Smartphone companies which focus selling flagship smartphone will have to focus on Yangon market. Samsung is selling S6 and S6 edge on April 10 in many cities in Myanmar.
